Since earning my stripes from the Berklee College of Music’s Canadian affiliate school (The Selkirk College), I’ve had the privilege of touring, performing, and recording with real-life rockstars.
I taught my first guitar lesson over 18 years ago, and since then, I’ve been creating some of the most popular and impactful guitar tutorials available online.
As the mastermind behind Campfire Guitar Star and a collaborator with industry heavyweights like Guitar Mastery Method, TrueFire, JamPlay, and Guitar Control, I’ve returned to the roots of my personal brand, "Will Ripley Guitar," where I’m delivering my most powerful content yet.
Here, I operate with the heart of a “Mom and Pop” store, offering a personal touch that larger companies simply can’t match. It’s in this space that I passionately share my knowledge with aspiring guitar players.
I’m still deeply involved in the music scene, actively writing, recording, and performing with my current musical project, "Mount Rushka," which I proudly call my "best band yet." Showcasing my guitar skills, we’re in the process of recording a full-length album with the expertise of Brian Moncarz, who has worked with legends like Alice Cooper, Phillip Sayce, and Our Lady Peace.
Beyond my music career, I’m a devoted father to Smith and Venice. Together with my wife, Lindsay, we’re raising our family in the beautiful town of Fernie, B.C., nestled in the heart of the Canadian Rocky Mountains.

I’ll highlight what you’re doing well, what needs work, and how to improve, just like a private lesson. You get up to four Fretboard Feedback reviews per month.
